Ok, I have a few questions for anyone reading.

1. Do you believe in investing in sub $2/share companies?

2. Do you think fuel cell parks/plants are a viable green alternative/addition to our aging power grid? Or are solar/wind more likely to stay on top for alternatives?

I ask because I've been reading/watching FCEL and am on the fence but nearly convinced about making a long term investment. Risky? of course. The companies goal is to be the first profitable in its sector. Its cells are used in the largest fuel cell park in the world in South Korea, completed this past month, and operates in 3 continents. 3. Do you think investments in growing/not profiatble companies is just careless?

They seem to be on the right path and nearing the final stretch to profitability based on their profit growth and eps growth y-o-y.

Thanks for your thoughts!

i think the questions an investor needs to a be able to answer in this scenario is 'what is the potential net margin on unicorn sales?' and 'is there really a non-gov-tax-supported market for magic fart plants?' see solyandra.

drill baby drill.

As an investment, maybe. As a trade I don't like them because they are usually less liquid and you can't buy stocks under $5 a share on margin.

Don't know enough about it.

Not at all. Look at Amazon. :)

Hi kleios,

See my responses in bold above.

Good luck whatever you decide!

Thanks for the input!

Can anyone recommend a trading platform or service for a new investor? While I won't be buying into a small company anytime soon I would like to put some in more established and known ones. So far doing research the only ones I find cost 7-10 dollars a trade.

Is this standard? My savings account just sits there and I realize more and more that it's not doing anything for me.
