Fans of Joss Whedon, You Know Who You Are!

I just caught Josh Whedon on the This American Life performing the commentary song for Dr. Horrible. I own the DVD and had no idea that the cast commentary of the 45 minute web-series was also sung. It is hilarious.

So it sounds like there are several of us on the MB who are Firefly fans. Very cool! It's SO nice to be talking about commonalities again. I have the DVDs of the Firefly series and the Serenity movie and watch them all the time.

I know that there are comic books ... ahem, graphic novels that bridge the time-line from the last Firefly episode to the start of the movie, but the reviews on them are mixed. Anyone here seen one? If so, what was your opinion of it? Was it good enough that a die-hard Browncoat, but one with half a brain, would spend shekels on it?

The comics are worthy. I enjoyed them for the anti-climatic tale of the men with "hands of blue". Love that episode and the comic was a good way to move that story on. (Trying real hard to not put spoilers out there:cheesy:)

I watch Firefly and Serenity a lot and was lucky enough to see the cast at Dragon Con a few years ago. It's great that everyone is still working. Have you seen V yet?

I still say they should rerun the Firefly series, (of course this time in order) and see just what kind of following they would generate.

Those DragonCon Firefly panels were always standing room only.
