Ever Been To Thailand?

I have a friend who went to Thailand some months ago to participate in a cross-country bike trek across Thailand in support of Operation Smile. http://www.operationsmile.org/

He's been sending me updates from time to time and he just sent me some pictures he wanted to share to his supporters. I thought I'd post this here as I'm happy to have helped him along the way and I wish I could join him. I've been to Thailand a few times and these photos bring back memories. Enjoy.

Been there many times. Maybe he can get to the northeast and hit Vientiane while he's there. I can't recommend the roads, but the scenery is much more interesting. Take a mountain bike. It's really rugged.

I went today for the very first time. The pictures are beautiful and for someone like me it's very easy to lose myself in everyone of them. So many things 'uniquely Thailand' -- and that give your friend a 'good identity' stand out.

I think he's also going to school over there. I know he's there for an extended period of time. He was even thinking about staying permanently.

If he stays there permananently, I highly recommend that he register at the embassy.
