Looks like we're having more email issues which will impact forum notifications. Hopefully it will be resolved before Monday morning.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'm not sure how this was accomplished, but I got this from our server...

The emails landing on spam folder issue has been resolved now, Kindly allow some time and check at your end and let us know for further clarifications.

Yep, that's where my notifications were as well. That explains it. Thank you!

Tom
I think I solved the mystery.
Gmail has done a recent major upgrade and I have found the messages from after you reset the server in my Gmail spam folder.
Once I made that filter to not let them go to spam, like you said, I started getting them again in the in box.
Then I looked and the other messages were in the spam folder.
I never had them go spam before so I did not expect it, and (embarrassed to say) I did not look.

Digging a little deeper the forum emails I found in the spam folder were marked "Unauthenticated Mail, Gmail couldn't verify that tsptalk.com actually sent this message ( and not a spammer)".
I don't remember any in the past being marked that way and I think it's a result of the Gmail upgrade.

OK, thanks.

That one daily reminder notification (no_reply one) is from the 3rd party email service we use (Constant Contact) so it is being sent from a different place than where the forum notifications come from, which is our servers.

I managed to open Gmail in desktop mode on my phone and created the new filter. Nothing in there from reply to server maintance or anything like that. I am getting emails from no_reply@... with the daily notification for the commentary, but none from support@....
I'll let you know what happens tomorrow.

I'm working on it, but on my phone with the app I don't have access to all the settings. I can't access Gmail on work computers, so it'll have to wait untill this evening when I'm home.

I can verify that all 3 of you are set up correctly right now. Are you getting any forum email notifications at all? Like this...

Dear tsptalk,

tom4jean posted the above reply to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - email Server Maintenance - in the Report Problems forum of TSP Talk Forums.

I get them so I know they are being sent.

If you use gmail, here are some things to try to keep them from being blocked or marked as spam. Of course adding our support@ email address to your list of contacts helps. Other email services will have different settings pages.

Go to gmail https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox

and click on the settings icon...

Go to the filters page...

Create new filter...

Add our address and perhaps use "Reply to thread" in the Has the Words box. Hit create filter...

Mark as not spam, and forward to secondary address if needed...

Let me know if that helps or not.

Thanks!

It use to be that threads would "reset" the following day whether you visited the thread or not. It does't seem to be doing that anymore, but I could be wrong because I'm going off my signals thread. When I post the daily signal, the thread remains in bold on the "new posts" link.

Sorry, No email for me from I_T or any other forums today or for the last few days.
Double checked all my settings and they are all "instant" email notifications.

We implemented our new email server recently and I had to reset the passwords over the weekend -- and I missed one so... you probably haven't gotten your forum email notifications this week - including Intrepid's daily alert.

It's been fixed now so hopefully the emails will start again.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
