Discuss Market Comments 09/23

Correct me if I am wrong but your breakout rule is that if the market holds the breakout for three sessions then you will enter into more stock funds. As such, given that it has held for three days and you have until noon EST to make a move, your rule requires entry as long as SP1130 holds through 11:45 am EST.

I would not call it a rule. I would trust a new trend a lot more if the breakout holds for 3 to 5 days.

I don't use that to make my decision. Just to get an overall outlook. I am more interested in the sentiment survey and the premium services signals to make my decision.

It is sure flirting with 1130 this morning.

I was glad to see that you used (simple) talk in your last paragraph regarding what you did with your funds. I know I rely heavily on advice like yours and others since I don't really know what im doing. I doubt im the only one. Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback.

I had forgotten to post a 9/24 comments area blog, and I believe you were referring to the last paragraph in my 9/24 commentary. I will create a comments area for 9/24 here now. But in response to your comment...

I don't normally give out my allocation since I follow the premiums services at times, but I understand wanting to see what other are doing because we are all uncertain about our moves - everyone.

The more I learn about the market, the more I realize that I don't know a thing. :)

I look at my name in the lower part of the autotracker and see the sentiment survey and trader fred up near the top - two emotionless systems that don't hope or want the market to move a certain. They just do what the signals say to do. We can learn something from that. Good luck!
