Coronavirus and Stocks

Not directly related to COVID-19 but $TSLA has gotten slaughtered this week. I'm not touching stocks any time soon but dang that is one I'd sure like to have at a discount...

I'm digging Amazon, as long as support holds near 1850...

Full disclosure: I own it now.

This one may be a little riskier, but Slack (symbol WORK) has been doing well lately and seems to be trying to find support while creating a bull flag...

Might take a look at diagnostic stocks like CODX, that may be more of a day traders stock now but there may be some peers. Didn't see this thread till this morning. Then there are some on the bio side like NNVC (NanoViricides, Inc.) https://finviz.com/quote.ashx?t=nnvc and SNGX which just finalized their transporting system https://finance.yahoo.com/news/soligenix-announces-successful-demonstration-heat-120000244.html. Of course do your DD. Certainly crazy out there!

Disclaimer: I do not own CODX or NNVC.

I live in Washington, near the city where first death in the U.S. and the nursing home outbreak. I went out to dinner last night to a restaurant that is usually packed with people and there were only 3 tables total, including us. My local nextdoor app seems to show a bunch of frightened people out there. This article touches on what I'm seeing so far.

First time poster btw. Realy liking all the interesting opinions and information.

Theory there is that streaming platforms like Netflix and Hulu would actually benefit from people having to stay home.

Stocks that hold up best usually lead when the corrections are over. Netflix has held up remarkably well given this market environment.

It’s been all over the board over the last two days this weekend- on the IG.com website Tsunami showed me, I’ve seen S&P500 up 2% to down 2% Saturday and Sunday. I have NO IDEA what will happen on Monday- although past history has been that we rarely ever finish a crash inexactly five trading days. It often goes up and down in the days following such a 10%+ retracement. I can’t ever recall a quick down and then immediately back up again, especially when the initial trigger of the downside is still such a big unknown.
