Buster, are you not posting these YouTube videos in the video section because they area really not working for you, you don't know how to do it, or is it out of defiance because you don't like change?

I wouldn't call it defiance..But More that I can't find the music video section very easily, nor do I see a simple way of posting Music Vids once I find the place...It is just WAY TOO inconvienent and If it is that much of a pain to post and locate this section..most people will not go there either..It would be easier just to go to Youtube..So what's the use?..Or is that your intent behind all this?

I'm just telling you how I see it..not trying to be defiant.

OK, I'm not sure what you're seeing (mobile view, etc.) but here's how it's done in a regular IE or FireFox browser - it's real easy.

You should see a "Videos" tab in the main menu near the top. It's a drop-down menu.
- Click that and choose "Add Video"
- Insert the link where it says: "Please enter VideoURL to get the details" and hit "Load", pick a category, and submit.


Now when you do that, the video thumbnail will show up in the sidebar so it will be more visible to readers.

Not to be a wiseguy, but I'm thinking the new way is easier (and maybe faster) than the old way, so I timed it.

I copied and pasted a link to the video and it took 19+ seconds from the time I hit the "Videos" button in the menu to the time the video was posted. Plus we get the sidebar link.

Time-wise it may be the about the same to post, but it's one click to find all the videos, and you can search on them, have categories, etc. Like anything else, it may take time getting used to, but I like it.

But like I said, it is too complicated to get to and is too far off the beaten path to be viewed and appreciated easily..

anyway...the damn thing is like filling out a tax form to upload a video..and still I got an ERROR..

I know it's futile to argue anymore, but for anyone else reading this, all you have to do is put the video link in and you're done. No tax returns required. :)

One more time:

That was so easy a donkey could do it. From a smart phone. Except it landed in the how to category. I'll fix that part later.

Sorry Tom,

But you are trying to sell your vision of this and it is complicated by your own instructions..Most will not argue because they aren't interested..if you think it is the cat's meow or the donkey's hee-haw to once was a simple drop in the url and post in the thread relavant..then have a ball.....The site speed is still dreadfully slow if not worse with regards to load speed of pages..and logging on to the site it self....It serves absolutely no better function IMO

Even the lost Donkey himself said his video ended up in the wrong place...WONDERFUL!

As you know, I don't kiss-up to anyone like others do just to score atta-boy points..if something isn't right, I'll tell you like it is, you'll just have to wear your big boy pants to be able handle it..So this is all I'll say about this subject.
