CNN confirms: Pres. Bush invites McCain, Obama to White House

I just wish he'd have provided an alternate solution that doesn't involve easy taxpayer money. Again... "We the People" are treated like "We the Sheeple." We are getting fleeced.
 
I think he gave an excellent explanation as to the cause of this problem. I just wish he would have further defined the culprits.
 
President's monotone delivery while somber kept causing me to dooze off. Don't think he was able to deliver the goods. We'll see.

CNN confirms: Pres. Bush invites McCain, Obama to White House

(CNN) — A senior White House official has confirmed to CNN that President Bush has invited both Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama to the White House to discuss the bailout legislation. Bush has also invited Congressional leadership from both parties to participate in the meeting.
Both presidential candidates have accepted Bush's invitation. The meeting is scheduled for 3:15 pm Eastern time Thursday.
