ChongoChingi's Account Talk

Well this is what I was thinking. Go into the L2040 and just try to cut off any major drop offs. But have mainly a plan to ride the L fund.

No, but a move after 12:00 EDT would be effective the end of the following day, and you can cancel/change it until 12:00 EDT that day.:D

Ok, I have a quick question in figuring my YTD return percentage. Here are my numbers:
7303.78 Begining of the year balance
4037.52 Contributions including matching
11341.30 YTD Balance without interest made
12113.46 Current Balance
772.16 Interest Made

So to calculate my current YTD percentage return do I divide the interest made (772.16) by my current balance, YTD balance w/o interest, or by the begining of the year balance?

Estimate YTD Return: 100X[(YTD Interest)/(Beginning Year Balance + 1/2xContributions)] = YTD (%).

This return estimate assumes your contributions were evenly distributed throughout the period.

CC,
I get +8.28% for your YTD return 100X[(772.16)/(7303.78+2018.76)]= 8.28%
