Hello all,

I've never be able to change my TSP contributions online as a "Department of the Army Federal Employee". Not through the TSP website nor through MyPay.

Now you can... https://www.abc.army.mil/ go into EBIS link on the right.

You can change your TSP, FEHB, and FEGLI.

Do other agencies now have the same ability?

D

I'm DOD navy and I use EBIS to change my percent contribution from my pay. I use tsp.gov to change allocation and IFT. Why can't you use the TSP site?

EBIS is the only "AUTHORITY" to take pay requests. The request is passed to Finance and the "amount" is sent to TSP. TSP reviews the allocation request YOU determine in YOUR Account.

TSP.gov can't touch your pay, only your contribution!

I can use the TSP Site for everything EXCEPT changing the percentage to pull out of my pay...i.e 15%

Thanks!! I see the difference now!

About 50% of the time when I enter in a new contribution % in myPay for it to deduct from my pay check and put into my TSP, it does not go through. If it told me it did not go through, then I could try again, but instead it says it goes through and sends me the confirmation e-mail. When I log in (to myPay) and click on the TSP link, it even tells me the change is pending. But then it just goes away and reverts back to the old percentage. I have had it do this to me 3 times, at least.

Anyone else have this problem or know what could be causing it?

I mentioned several weeks ago that this had also happened to me twice so far this calendar year, in Jan and Feb. Nobody else said anything similar had happened to them. It wasn't contributions tho that went into deadzone-it was IFTs for me.

I didn't discover the problems til long after I had received confirmations both changes had taken effect. never seen this happen before this year. something is funky in the whole system if its affecting more than just me. I'm not DOD. We have an inhouse system called Dashboard. anybody know how to chase this at tsp.gov level?

I empathize, it happened to me 2x in a row too-I did 1 IFT in Jan, and one in Feb and got confirmations they happened (but they didn't really happen). I didn't realize it til too long after the fact. The March one(s) worked the way they were supposed to.
