I understand that this is the lounge and all that. But it seems that some are forgetting the hard and painfully learned lesson about posting political content on this MB. It gets ugly when we do that, folks, remember? There are too many diverse opinions and people aren't going to change their minds. It just causes anger and seems to spread to other threads. Please, please, especially in this election year, let's keep the politics at the Beltway okay?

There is a time and a place for everything. This may or may not be the time, but this is NOT the place, my friend. I know your political position and you know mine. We are NOT going to change each other's mind. If I understand correctly, this MB is for thoughtful discussion of financial matters and to have a little fun with our friends. Politics doesn't fit into either of those categories.

I'm re-e-aly not trying to tick anyone off here, and I hope I'm not out of place. It's just that the bruises are just starting to heal from the last time the MB got political. Again, IMO. So let's stop it before it starts again. Pretty please?
