all good hollywood. no cookie changes or tricks needed for me, at least on the pc. i'll check android phone too.
 
no probs, no changes on phone either. which is good because i do my best work from the phone, plus it takes selfies.

I found the red message about how to fix the login, followed the steps for firefox, I'm baaack.

not so good for me anymore tom. now i get dumped and have to relogin when switching threads and subforums from phone

still no problems from windows laptop pc no changes and no dumping, only on the android phone is when i get dumped on each thread switch and have to relogin.
 
no problems on laptop computer. still getting dumped and have to relogin on phone when switching between threads. even after clearing history, cache, and cookies "from the beginning of time". i thought that was a pretty cool option, the other choices were "today" "week" and "month". if you're going to pitch something into the dustbin, might as well just go whole hog and burn it all. it felt really good pushing that button.

except it's not really a button, just an image of a button, and you don't really push it either, you just tap the screen. strange days indeed. i wonder where all that garbage ends up? maybe on facebook or something. or at the server farm in toole, same thing.
 
still getting dumped on thread switches and back to main page. must relogin each public thread to post or political threads to view. lg g5 running latest android software using chrome browser.
 
What are you using to browse on your Android? I tried TapaTalk and the default software with my Android and it seemed to work fine.

I wonder if there is a browser security setting that is causing it? Still looking.

i use standard android software on a 2-month old phone, using chrome browser. i always choose "desktop view", i don't like the text or phone dumbed down app software. never tried tapatalk. my phone is a pocket computer and i treat it that way. i expect it to keep hot porn on tap, conduct all financial transactions securely, and only give away my location to secret lovers. is that to much to ask? also i would prefer that i get to read liberal vitriol, tear down anything not left without ever saying anything good about left, in the politics threads. that probably is too much to ask, but i ask anyways.

MAY be issues from my Samsung Galaxy S5, NOT using Tapatalk, running Android 6.0.1, default (Samsung ?) browser (4.0.24-64)

Rarely use the phone for forum access, so not in the mood to troubleshoot further tonight !!! :D

We're still working on getting the firewall installed and working correctly. Right now it is causing the forum program to think many of us are using the same IP address (the IP of the firewall) and that is why you may not be able to login and why it may say that you had more than 5 login failures.

I also noticed that a few recent posts I made are not showing up. I'm not sure if a database restore from a recent back up was done, but we're aware of the issue.

We're on it and hopefully it will completed soon. Thanks for your patience!
 
A few more instance of login problems this morning. Now it's getting to the point of whether we want to have the added security of a firewall that may be more of a problem than a pop up ad. :rolleyes:

We're working on it.
 
Yeah, I couldn't logon for about 2 hours, even when I cleared cookies, but it worked this time.
