We're trying to figure out why some people can see the new "Like" buttons while other cannot. So we're asking:

Can you see the new "Like" feature in the posts? And what browser do you use?

Thanks!

Yes on Chrome- Version 42.0.2311.90 m

Yes on Firefox - version 37.0.2

Yes, on Internet Explorer 11.0.18

Note- I updated to Java version 8, update 45 last week. Maybe its a Java thing.

You can check what version of Java you have here:
Verify Java Version

No for IE, FF, & Chrome, no on my android tablet. I am running the latest version of everything, including Java

I voted yes for Firefox, but also just used IE ... also yes. Could it be sensitive to some browser settings? Is it required to accept "cookies"? Just a thought.

boohiss-situation, not people. Java is current version, firefox is current version. tsptalk cookie is stored until logoff.

mine is chrome 30 on android (kit kat). it tells me it is out of date. but i don't want to upgrade until my data resets in a few days in the new billing cycle.

it's because the new software recognizes mobile devices by a mac id and forces them all to a mobile skin which is dumbed down (optimized) to save energy and clutter on smaller screens. it should be possible for the software to offer a choice at the front door whether you want the full strength or lite forum.

back in the 1980's captain kirk and his flip phone communicator seemed impossible. now i carry a computer in my pocket. i would really like an option to view the full site like the old dinosaur hardwire machines from 2012 can. and you can't upload images or access all editing functions of the mb on mobile either.

i don't think the smart phone tech minimal hardware crowd is going away any time soon, it might be an important demographic to attract and satisfy.

Huh! Imagine that! It works perfectly on my Apple iPad and Mac home computer.

I have Safari iOS 8.3 on the iPad installed/updated and Safari 10.10.3 installed/updated on the Mac Mini. All features on TspTalk are working smoothly. :D

Resistance is futile. Come join the iBorg! Bwahahahaaaaaa!

I'm on a gov't computer and last night I couldn't see the "like this post" tab.
This morning I can & my notifications say I have new likes. So the system is updated for me at least.

Tom,

I can now see the like thumbs up button lower right corner as well as my like notifications at the top. It seems to be resolved for me now.

Thank you,

Frank
