I think they were trying to tag the 50-day EMA on the S&P. They basically succeeded.

Tom has mentioned that there is less post about people's moves lately and I am starting to agree because I just can't figure the market direction anymore It seems 90% news based and swings too much for market analysis on my part, I feel like I am misleading because I am overwhelmed by news events: :embarrest::embarrest::embarrest:

I have made very few moves this year, now mainly trying to buy low vice moving to G and back. The market is hard to read. Plus, will the rumored 'looming recession' take us down beyond the recent lows?

This is a churning market. It is not good for market timing.

A good market timing market will give you a signal and then have legs in the direction given. This one just churns. Best to be kinda in, kinda out and let it churn. You really only have two trade anyway - and, those trades have to be initiated by mid-day and don't take hold till end of day.

You can't post if you don't move. I for one am just frozen in place waiting for things to calm down from all this market insanity. Most of those that do try and play this market are ending up with some sizable negative returns simply because the timing is so hard to judge. Who needs that stress and aggravation? And then there's a small few that have been fortunate enough to have actually made a profit. :35: Nice work !!!
I'll just hang with my G-Fund peeps until the Market situation becomes a bit more predictable. Locked and Loaded for when that happens.
