Maybe...but what I am seeing as more likely is a narrowing channel with the 1500 area as the end. I do note that a similar channel is there on the ^DJT. This could just be my creative imaginings though as I don't see a similar channel on the SnP.

Looks like that open gap near the end of March will be filled today. 50 day now resistance but will the 200 offer support?

Looks like all the upward movement is based on Mnuchin saying the talks were "Constructive". Looking at the charts it almost looks like a comment made gap was created today. Just goes to show how rare it is to get it right when calculating how geopolitical influences will be worked into market direction.

Yeah and then there's the "why" he said it, because they were concerned about the market down turn? But what will be the outcome of the talks in the end, anyone's guess. Yep, can't time any of that. That's why I'm on the sidelines until all this shakes out.
