Bquat's Account Talk

I see you were talkin' 20 day crossing 50 day on SPX- do you have target exit number similar to what JTH has in his sig. block? Thanks for the charts by the way...

I kind of agree with JTH's 1850 but maybe my rung at 1848. I do however have to decide for my last IFT. I'm thinking of maybe staying 50% in and try the 1820 area for a bounce. It's risky but if I exit I'll be done for this month. If the holiday trend reversal comes, I could probably test that area before having a chance to decide. I'm taking a chance since we have a rising 5 and 11 day. What do you think? Thanks for the visit.

To do a parody of Oscar " Stops are out, emotions are in". I would really like a 1819 stop but that's a no for TSP.

I tend to do my TA before I listen/read the market news, this way if someone has a differing opinion, I can go back to my charts and see if they can prove me wrong. I can't trade as fast as ITMS, but I do admire is confidence he's right more often than not, and his losses appear nominal. If you want to stay bullish DON"T listen this video.

So I didn't watch the video yet. Like you I draw first then second guess. Well, I was looking for a holiday trend reversal but look at this bullish thrust that's continuing. Maybe for once we can test the highs before the deadline. Remember the rung is resistance not my last exit line. So we watch.

For a change I have completely different lines than you and JTH.

My picks are, if we break the 1848-1850 range, a quick hit of 1853 and down or, if 1853 breaks, a run up to 1860-1862ish and then back down.

I do like your 1820 line as a higher short term low but am uncertain on how much strength another run up will have after that.

Things not looking as good as the open but not seeing any real fear. See a high base or bull flag forming. Market's back to waiting for deadline to show direction.:(

Even though I'm not seeing weakness here and above a line that I should be adding, I am doing the opposite. Going to G to save profits. This is my best annual start and why risk it. This is a high base forming but I have no fortitude.:notrust:

Don't worry you may not be alone. I'm considering moving over as well. Then again, I do believe Yellen is speaking tomorrow.

Didn't know that but with the market going up and weather improving, I feel she will say tapering will continue because NE weather is a short term event and you know there may be more hiring to make up for productivity loss and keep up with demand. JMHO:notrust:

I moved my funds back into G. If I have to move my funds, I'd rather it be an upday like today.
I hope I'm not the only deciding factor you used because sometimes my best TA is done when my mouth isn't moving and people just use my charts.

No you're not the deciding factor. I personally believe the earnings reports later this week from Wal-Mart (Thurs) and Mariott (Wed) will not be as strong as Wall-Street will like. Combined with jobless claims on Thursday that could go either way, I just don't want to face the volatility.

Made move to G fund. Sitting on the launchpad with the ignition switch turned to off. Booster rockets refueling. Launch date unknown. Also, I'm checking in since it has been awhile since I made any moves. Cheers!

Oh my reason for moving, markets on the short term are over extended. Probability of fall is much greater than a rise. Also, resistance of old highs will be tested again. :worried:

Good reason. Looking at the autotracker many are doing the same.

If you have no objections I'd like to sweep the crumbs off your table that you leave behind. Getting out in a bull market can be costly to your bottom line.

Go for it dude.:) I'm happy to at least have a bottom line early this year.:D
