Honestly, that question is difficult to quantify. Usually in this situation I'd wait for confirmation but something wasn't settling right with me, I felt needed to get out, so I did.

Excellent answer and reason to exit. Sometimes that's what saves you from loss.
 
futures soaring, gap up here where we take off maybe just a few days or all month. I will take what I can get before summer gets here.

I hope jth is wrong. If hes right about getting out I lose. couple days ago wasnt he all for staying in april??. lol

What I advise others to do and what I do are often two different things, most of my advise is geared towards the long-term novice investor.

one of nnutts 3% days would be great but ill take half of that.
 
We are above the longer term orange channel and need to test it as support. Testing the short term peak line. If it holds as support some shorts should cover. Like Birch say's "the bull market doesn't like company". Yesterday's weakness scared some out. So I'll have to check around and see what the good news was?

yea the Noos was in full downtalk mode since friday. Surprised??
 
We are above the longer term orange channel with resistance tested as support. We're above the short term peak line tested as support. Now all we need is for the shorts to realize they need to buy to cover.;)

What?!?! No!!!! This is horrible!!!! We may actually have the shorts covering before the deadline!!! What evil does this portend???:p

My out line is still 1546 but I am looking at raising it to at least 1555 by the end of the week.

Yeah that's right at my lower low line. Sure is taking the shorts a long time to buy. So before the deadline no that can't happen we get user input 30 min from now as always.:rolleyes:
 
Well my yellow channel is still good and my blue line is good again. It's nice to get something right. Now wasn't that a dip buy?:)
 
Aghh - I am glad the S&P is holding up but the divergence in small caps (where i am invested) just sux. Well, I suppose its payback time
and letting the I fund play catch up. The month is young.
