Well here's the longer term with your exit which I decided to use. Figured today's damage was already done. Right now at resistance. Hope we can break it. These lines look ok to you?

I think Fab1 miss read this. I was trying to say I would use 1540 as an exit line and that since we were almost 1% down the damage of the projected 1% down would of happened before my IFT would have happen, so there was no use of using it. I guess I was confusing.
 
Did we recover enought to continue the old channel? We are showing a confirmed down trend. I am hoping the bounce off 1540ish is enought of a correction for the market gods. We'll see. Luckyly the 1% was enought of a move today. Here's the chart.

Yep...but I was worried too... when we dipped below that point (1540)I thought we were headed for 1527 today. It looks like Fab may have timed it perfectly! Now we just have to worry about initial claims putting a damper on things...
 
Seems like the buzz over Cyprus is doing its worst to shout down the market. Can take this as a good sign that the doomsayer din seems to be getting ignored so far. I am more concerned with the impending FOMC meeting...in this situation (with the technicals as they are) we need a boost of Fed Rocket Fuel to soar past 1564...and beyond.

Yea but I haven't timed the dips well but we'll see if dip buying brings me up past my entry. Fab did great.Hope it continues while I go bowl. The 1% move is almost done. Would be nice for shorts to cover. It's early yet.:)

It may be the market thinking QE3 unending wil continue with Europe doom around. Remember how it diped with unemployment going down thinking QE may be cut some for inflasion worries. Remember gloom is needed for free Fed money.

I like the money we are making today...but I don't like how the market is acting. We may be done with this run for a while unless more money comes in soon.

I'm happy but I'm just making money back. Resistance right at the 1 % but we are above the lower high line(dark gray} so let's bull flag here.:)
 
I have you down as going 100% S on the 14. Didn't you say that in your thread? Maybe it was somewhere else.
 
I have just seen the results of the days trading - my dumbphone's battery exhausted itself quickly this morning, I thought I brought two spares - nope!

So I just kept my same allocation (100 S) glad I did. well so far. We need that Rocket Boost and maybe the Fed has paved the way.
