I barely edged out 20% increase on my account balance but that includes contributions. I am only able to estimate my own return but I think I came in close to you for an actual % gain (without contributions). Maybe I should sign up for the tracker...but then I would be on here for hours every day trying to get above #75:rolleyes:. I know what is good for me so am not going to try!

Yea but, with your 10 and my 10 we can compare notes and get 12%.:D
 
I went to the 2 hour to show you resistance at 1290 and 1325ish. Futures are up but I don't know if I want to enter yet.

Too much downside potential (risk) with very little upside potential (reward); so probably a good idea to stay on the sidelines until a better market direction becomes evident :D
 
Resistance became support and didn't hold on the second test.:o I'm not entering today.

Agreed...the 1325-1330 mark is at the extreme high end of the potential of this run. I think there will be a much better buy in opportunity in the near future!

Bquat...if you draw out your time line you should end up with a 1290's point on a triangle. Unless the 1284 was it we may have another 10 points or so to the upside before we have any direction for more that a couple of days.

Little bear says that's ok. You'll only go to 1292, then it's my turn.:(

I'm not leaning either way because we been here before and the 200 day didn't hold. Looking for a confirmation of the move up and might try the 1295 to 1325 area.

If this is so bullish, why was so many exiting today by the tracker?:worried:
 
Good morning. Well the little bull flag didn't work (yet says little bull). I'm showing a channel with a 30 point spread or maybe a 1.5 % gain possable from bottom to top. I think the risk may be too great to waste an IFT for so little and be out for sooo long for the rest of the month. If you want to look for the bottom to hold and just do it. The bottom of the channel would set a higher low if it holds. So what do you guys think.
 
I suspect the SPX may bounce like it's on a trampoline once 1300 hours rolls around - the VIX will probably break to the downside initially and then woosh.
 
Agreed...head and shoulders forming today for a set-up for tomorrow? We are in a broad (1257 -1295) channel that will be tested, maybe several times, this month. Hopefully we can pick a couple of days later this month to pick up 3%!
