Bquat's Account Talk

We didn't drop to the 50 day and punched back thru the 20 like it wasn't there. the trend is your friend. I am not overly upset I didn't eat the 2% drop just missed the 2+% rise...lol.

Re: this is it

Well call me undecided. Uptrend's analysis on the USD is something to consider. I can bear some small loss in F but not a whipsaw in equities especially at 100% investment.

Success in investing comes from being able to see not what is in front of you but what is lurking just around the corner. I can smell that wafting superlative bull manure.

I wish I would have stayed in the market instead of getting out on a day that the market fell 2%. I guess I was scared that it would keep dropping, but after today I think that 2% will be recouped. One thing I told myself at the beginning of the year was to stay in the market until I am at least back up to what I entered at...which I broke by doing what I did. I've been getting irritated as many others have with how this market has been going. As much as people want to study the technicals no one can predict the news driven events that have been happening.

Look at the S_Fund on the tracker...it is in 25th place. We all sit here talking about this stuff all day and if we would have simply stayed in the S Fund for the entire year so far we would be tied up there at the top lol. Grr...this stuff makes me angry lol. Sometimes buy and hold does seem to work because all of this year's losses have been recouped over the next few days it seems.

As I always say, I don't know anything about this stuff though. :(

As a disciplined buy and holder my hardest job is trying to spend my money correctly - it's not easy. This bull has been really good to me since the March '09 bottom and I suspect we got another 5 years of good times left. Snort.

Hindsight is always 20/20, woulda, coulda, shoulda. The hardest thing is not to panic sell or buy because it always seems to be at the lowest or highest point. Never second guess because it just might cause ulcers or worse. This market still has plenty of ups and downs. Don't worry you still have many more mistakes ahead of you. Been there!!! Done that!!! Good luck sarge.

I'm sorry MaStA...I don't understand what you mean. :embarrest:

I was simply agreeing with your comment about wondering where Bquat is. I wonder the same thing every morning we don't hear from him. Hopefully all is well with his family.

Yes, I am hoping he is just taking a little break while on the lilly pad. I am sure that you and I aren't the only ones that always click on his tread first. He has definately become a "must read" poster! Perhaps the "Free Birchtree" folks can take up the "Where in the World is Bquat?" cause...:D

Hey Bquat, you are on our minds and in our prayers. Hope you and your family are well.
