Bquat's Account Talk

Almost done with the second week of 2024, I am starting my 2024 Chart. Sideways consolidation is my guess. What do you think? 2024 Chart a new beginning:

Market is playing nice with my in the box levels as speculation of rate cuts or not in the near term. I am showing some longterm room and Midterm room if sideways movement continues until the cut happens or not. My guess? I think the Midterm is neutral:

We have a breakout from the sideways consolidation rectangle, and it has been tested from below. I might have to redraw. Chart: :worried:

So why is the FED having problems lowering rates? Two things. The employment numbers are being released higher than they are in the reports to look good, then revised down later outside of the news cycle for several months now making it look like the economy is improving. The other thing is when so many get a second part-time job it's counted again as a new job. Just my thoughts I could be wrong right.

Well, I guess it was a false breakout. Back in the rectangle. I do have some Spidey levels from December top just in case. Chart:

Hard to draw a news/rate-based market. Today was surprising. Drawn from bottom with parallel top. Chart:

This is one way to get out of the rectangle. I don't think it's a false breakout, but something is happening. I have to go to an appointment and will redraw if I have too. Chart:
