Bquat's Account Talk

Not sure how well mid-day dojis hold up. A weekly stock chart is only accurate when the market closes on Friday and the last price is printed, maybe reading daily candlesticks apply in this context? There was a doji in Tuesday's chart at noon and I ran for the door. By the end of the day, it was gone!

Yeah posting stuff at noon is tough to gage the market since the smart money trades at the end of the day. Usually the last hour. But I get why people post stuff at noon because of our stupid IFT rules.

Profit taking is bought back up and not showing weakness here but could be topping:
I completely missed the move and I think it is news related because of lower inflation but what if the Fed speaks net week?
I would like a test of the moving averages from above and the last crossover if mainly the 100 DMA dropping from the last bottom.
Think I may just watch JTH closer.

You say you completely missed the move, but I don’t see how anyone could predict a rally right now.

Wow a whole week without bad news. I even thinking about support levels: :cheesy:
Will there be a three-day holiday trend reversal? I don't know.

Since I can't catch the news events and have been bearish a whole year or two, maybe a dream chart? What you think?

Wow TSP are taking funds out on 17th and I will get paid on 19th I guess automatic programs don't work on 15th. So much for a set payday anymore. :(

Thanks for sharing - just another potential "glitch" to be looking out for when we switch from accumulation to distribution phase.

Is this looking like stability? Can we breakout or do we drop again? I don't know: :suspicious:

What do you think?

It looks like a right shoulder of an H&S pattern, but it was created so quickly compared to the left shoulder. Maybe more chopping around?

Of course big earnings reports start tonight and the Fed's rate hike is next week so we may not have to wait long to find out.
