Bquat's Account Talk

Midterm hit (broke a little bit) but is it enough if Greece talks fail? I doubt it. Tempted to take profits and bail but I'm feeling greedy!
I don't know what to tell you. This can be an exhaustion move to a double top. This move really has me confused.:suspicious: The decision is your's and the deadline sucks.;swear

Thanks buddy! I really wasn't looking for a response on a rumor moving market like this. But I do agree that the deadline sucks a$$!

If I had the option, I would pay $10.00 for a 3rd IFT and $20.00 for a 4th IFT if needed. Just my two cents.

Its not about the money, it's about control... They don't care, they want to make as much money with yours that they can...

I would pay $10.00 a month to have the use of stops.

To take this pipe dream one step further....I would love to have this set up as a true managed earnings account where stops and shorts were allowed. Hitting us with a fee per move would be chump change at that point...they could even take a %age of earnings off the top and I'd still be ecstatic!

Don't most mutual funds charge an early redemption fee? My Schwab accounts charge 2% if transfers/redemptions occur within 30 days. Being able to move in and out to another fund and then to G Fund within a calendar month is better than most mutual funds allow, no?

HFT and free riding is a big frowny face in the industry, but in essence one can do that with TSP. The 12pm cutoff makes it a challenge, but are there funds out there that allow HFT and free riding? The SEC is not supposed to allow that and that's one reason why I have not rolled over my TSP to another investment company.

Seems like a good item for NARFE or NTEU to take up for feds and retired feds. I rarely see real efforts undertaken to make the system work better but I certainly think this is one action that would really benefit everyone.

My Vanguard mutual funds have a redemption fee if sold within 60 days of purchase. However, I can trade EFTs to my heart's content with only a $7 per transaction fee. With a margin account I don't have to wait the 3 days for cash settlement. I could never expect the TSP to allow margin accounts, but it could allow us to trade EFTs with the free ride rule in place to prevent day trading.

I was mainly offering a couple of ways they could keep people in the TSP or at least make me happy.:notrust:

This is my main worry yet the correction could be done. Fallen out of a rectangle pattern in a bear trend::eek:

Can both stocks and bonds be in fear about the situation in Greece of are they just waiting on it? I'll give you the four funds and you tell me where my channels are wrong.:D
