Bquat's Account Talk

As long as we stay north of the river we'll be fine. I must go do yard work and beat the heat.:)

Yea I had to come in and look. Happy the first test of my two lines. Which one held I don't know? If it was the light gray line mo better. It keeps us in the upper half of the channel::)

I'm worried about Bquat and JTH. This channel and trendline thing is over the top. Let me send you all a coupon for a free drink at TGIF or something.

Nice sized chart, I like the river, I may start naming my trendlines too :)
I was going with someone who mentioned crossing the stream or river theory. I think it's mainly when you break above the top or bottom of a triangle .

Even Oscar has switched to buy the dip: Live With Oscar Too bad I didn't look before the deadline. I could of given a heads up on Oscar saying he's wrong again.:) I think I've been letting him influence me too much.;)

It's when you gap up/down across a level of support/resistance, sort of like jumping the shark :)

Here we go. I can tell which line now::)

Looking at the gray lines on the chart in 7430, I thought I would try a ladder. A ladder is like a visual aide to me to see the pulse of the market. With this ladder I see that the position of resistance just under the rung may hinder our fight for the next rung.:worried:

FWIW Bquat, with all the information you present in your charts, I'mma liking the "Test 4" larger version.
yes, JTH showed me how to do this an easier way. It's amazing how many things I can't figure out on my own.

In the few months I've been reading this website, I've learned a whole wealth from not only JTH, but also you.

Well our first breach of the midchannel line and we crossed the river and didn't go through the woods. This in fact could be good testing the river as support. Now let's get back into the upper half of the channel:

Now with the river line we stay slightly bullish now. The theory is resistance, resistance, start butting your head against resistance and break it. Now it should be support, support and leave it behind. Later on if you don't leave it behind you find the waterfall and we don't want that. Nice, back in the upper channel::)

Now some say that we're just right back to where we started but now we have resistance tested as support and this may be a good thing. Now somebody tell the bulls this. I still have some concern where the next level of resistance and we need their help.

Damn I hate the deadline. We're butting our head on the higher high line: Since I'm only 50% in I will risk it and stay in.
