Bquat's Account Talk

Long time no drop in....You are nailing my concerns for the day. I rolled the dice and went into I at the end of last month and it has paid off so far. I am cringing on the Israel/Iran debacle going on.

Hope all is well on your end!

All is well. Was out of pocket this morning. Have to do apointments early since join bowling leagues. I have a concern wit the 1440 level. With a rising wedge forming and the tale of tails theory. Showing more and more tails on the top. Any Fed mention of no QEIII will cause a drop. Even if they say it is still an option, I don't think thats what big money wants to here. They're are poised for the pounce either way and it's comming to big move time again. If 1440 isn't broken today or tomorrow, I think profit taking will be taken and not during our decision time. I do think risk is higher than reward even with the slightly higher highs which may be a low volume drift. So to see if I'm the contrary indicator.:worried:

They're are poised for the pounce either way and it's comming to big move time again. Right on the pounce in either direction. And as to, So to see if I'm the contrary indicator, I said if 1440 is not broken soon.

Maybe I should say when the big move is comming and not speculate on direction. This has happened more than twice. I can see the move comming but wrong direction. Did good news come out?:embarrest:

QEIII anounceed and last time it was the support for Spain and Italy. I can't fight the news.

More wasteful spending of $40 BILLION per month...or should I say more printing to decrease the value of our dollar...ridiculous. Seems the market has priced most of this in as of right now because the market isn't up that much...

If Uncle Ben has a good news conference we could see the SPX up +30 points somewhere above 1465 and the Dow +250. How sweet it is.

Above the channel right into a rising wedge. Only thing bullish about this move was a news base jump. When people start speculating about the economy being so weak as to need QEIII, this market will reverse. This was just to pop the market before the election. Ben will keep pumping until the housing market turns. Ha the housing market is now only 2% of the economy right now. This is just a cover up for the goverment to buy more bad morgages to help the banks hide more bad debt and use taxpayers money to back the loans. Why not $40,000,000 at 1% to small business startups ever so often? Some commentators in the financial arena said QEIII was already in effect and this was only the official announcement. Rant over.:worried: This is Mr. paranoid speculating again. Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac here's your checks.

So here's the charts.

We fell a little. Hope to get the rest Friday:cool:
I really hope you do.:) Not keeping QE3 silent may hurt big money's outlook on the economy. Also big spending like this can add to the chance for the USA getting a down grade again. You might get a couple of days out of this and I've been wrong before.;)

Ok, I'm calmed down now and off my soapbox. So do we continue with the long term trend of have a friday afternoon sell off? The red line is from the last peak and 1% above resistance becoming support. The testing of the light blue line should let us know. Are we peeking? I don't know. I can't figure a market that is propted up by QE3 news. They do time it right. Announce right when people thinking we have topped. Now big money can take our jump in. I didn't jump in but do wonder if the market will keep being propted up for the election. There was an annoucement that our credit rateing may go down more and it is ignored. Oh there I go again. You know maybe I'll miss the entire buy at any cost move (Birchism).

Here you go and as always fill free to post here even if you disagree. Keep the peoples informed and don't let my bias be the only thing they see.

Senior bowling is the place to be. Hope all my new friends are there with me. To Green Acers tune.:D See ya.

Well with my rant over, I'm continplating not fighting the FED. Christian at perfect stock alerts say's even though we look over bought we're in a breakout and don't ignore what the FED is doing. It's buying a bottom. So I'm thinking of buying Monday even in a falsely bullish market because why? I don't know. But when Tom, Dick and Harry believes the FED I have to follow. Or do I? Let me know your feelings. Ok Birch, I already know your's.;) I don't bowl on Monday so I'll be a watching.:)

We're in a bullish pull back.

I like it when people express doubts about the future course of the markets. Perhaps prospects for higher global GDP growth from 2013 are the driving force behind rising equity market prices and the falling VIX levels. This market has the potential to be up over 30% in the next rolling 7 month period. Bernanke gave us a positive Black Swan and I'm really pumped.

remember what your momma said, if tom dick and harry jumped off a cliff would you do that too?
Well, if they went first and the pool at the bottom was nice and deep, and they came up cheering and laughing...then Yes, I would jump based on past history that the jump was likely to be fun and invigorating while inviting acceptable risk...especially if there were attractive members of the fairer sex sans optional outer accouterments
jumping as well.

However, if the blood-spattered rocks at the bottom were well and truly covered with copious amounts of gore and offal...then No, I would not jump based upon my analysis of past historical results. The jump would likely be fun, until the sudden stop and the out-of-body sensations, both literal and figuritave, would probably be most enlightning, the experiences of which would be ones that I would likely not be accuratly able to express to other hopeful jumpers.

Thanks. Much appreciated.

Class, I've learned, isn't all it's cracked up to be. Style...now that's lasting if it's done right. Elvis, Eastwood, Patton, Hemmingway, Monroe, The Duke, Franklin...the list goes on and on of those with style. Some also happened to be classy, but not all by any stretch.
