If this were the stock market, I would tell you this is crazy, but since it's crypto, I'd call it an average day at the office. Listed below is the YTD performance of the Crypto space. Solano's SOLUSD has lost -55% in 5 days.

I own a little BITO, but I will probably be buying some ETF shares on dips in Bitcoin.

Re: Crypto News

Everyone front running a possible bitcoin ETF.

Well, it's here. Anybody buying an ETF in their accounts?

Looks like some money bailing out of GBTC and moving on to cheaper fee ETF offerings.

Now that we have ETFs, at least there's more regulated protection, but (for me) the whole point in having crypto is to be free of government intervention not have more of it.

Re: Crypto News

When's the next rug pull going to happen? I can see the halving being the next big sell the news event and that's coming up in April. It seems like $100,000 is the goal of this current mania even though that's a bit less than 100% away.

Like JTH said, if you buy bitcoin for the reasons it exists, you wouldn't do it through an ETF. With the ETF's, I wonder how much speculation will increase. Besides the ease and accessibility, you now have options to make even more of a gamble. Also being an ETF in a brokerage account, taxes are no longer some kind of artful project which involves having to pay a third party to track. It will all be done for free by your broker via 1099 at the end of the year.
