biscuits and gravy

We've got Biscuits N' Porn. No Joke and great biscuits and gravy. They sell shirts, bumper stickers etc. now. Not the real name, and not too long ago only locals used to call it "Biscuits N' Porn". Now, tourists go in just to get the bumper sticker. Link below from Yelp.

hold. think about it. look at the answers. how many said mom or gramma?

you are missing the secret, how many said wife? that is your answer. don't ever discount a woman who makes you biscuits. she didn't do it because she likes biscuits. she liked you. remember that.

the world would be a better place if there were more biscuits. remember that, recognize. and say thank you once in a while... or else buy some wine and go for a drive. they like that too. even your mom.

burnt biscuits or not, just clean your plate and say thank you ma'am. that is how the game works. they do most of the work, plus they have boobs. i can not find a reason to complain here. and maybe help with the dishes sometimes, she will like that, no matter who you are.

also watch out for yoga pants. they used to be called tight is in '80s. and boots, especially knee high boots that go click clack. watch out for those.

they can tricky you, pacing back and forth. click clack click clack. it is hypnotizing, do not look directly at them.

and always, thank her. just say it, nice piece of work. even if she pretends you offended her, she will appreciate you were honest. and that you liked her biscuits. try it sometimes. more biscuits for everybody!

ok, if you ever find yourself in north dakota, put kroll's diner on your biscuits and gravy list.

i had the simple and distinct pleasure this weekend to take a drive out on the high prairie. long straight shot, nothing but snow white rolling plains, clear blue sky forevah, an occasional brown dormant stick tree, and always that bare dry endless grey ribbon of a road. incredible beauty, like church or something, therapeutic, god's country. plus the radio was coming in good and both door speakers working. rock on.

we stopped at kroll's for breakfast. i recommend clara's special. two perfectly cooked eggs, generous hashbrowns, 4 slices of real solid bacon, and the skillet of biscuits and gravy, a thick, peppery, sausage gravy, with extra for the hashbrowns. if i get to heaven i hope they serve this there.

besides, when a german gal like this tells you to sit down and eat, you just do it and say thank you ma'am. mmm, mmmm. boom.

oh! i got a new one for the biscuits and gravy bucket list!

had the chance to go for another prairie drive, ended up around lunchtime at a little place called 'the depot' just a block from the railroad tracks. they serve breakfast all day. i ordered the 'hobo' which is two homemade biscuits smothered in heavy country pepper gravy with real bigs chunks of sausage. two over easy runny eggs on top and 4 slices of thick applewood smoked bacon on the side. a little spendy and almost more than i could eat. dam it was good though. the real stuff.

nothing fancy just a little café/restaurant in an old mall building. but if you are ever in jamestown north dakota this is the hot ticket. also they have the world's largest buffalo there.
