Berkshire Hathaway Letter to Shareholders

For those who do not read investing newsletters, the yearly report from Berkshire is a great place to start. There won't be any stock tips or buy signals given, but reading over Berkshire's reports thru the years is a wealth of information. Hot off the press, the 2007 letter to shareholders.

Take heed where he says, "The party is over."

A little late, but anyone that hasn't read his recent report probably should. 2008 proved that he's only human just like everyone else.

Just click on the link in the first thread and view 2008.

Berkshire's 2009 report at this link:

Not one of his better ones but he speaks very vaguely of his current derivative holdings and makes the call for an end to the "housing problems" in about a year. He then spends about 3 pages justifying his purchase of Burlington Northern for $100 a share. He also mentions how Berkshire lent liquidity to the Market in March 2009.
