BamaAF's Account Talk

Thanks -- you too..

Don't trust the man -- so I copied my canx notice into an email, signed it with my CAC and sent it to myself with the time stamp -- just in case they try to say I did not canx in time.

They give us plenty of reason not to trust them ,,,,,don't they !

Staying in 33 33 34 CSI -- actually did IFT to go 100% F but canx it with 1 minute to go.. So many people going in even with market up today changed my mind....

Banging head on desk as I type -- (*&^$^T&*^$!!!!!

Feel like I just changed answers on multiple choice exam and FAILED!!!!!

Gooing from 33/33/34 CSI split to a 100% F position COB today

Feel we will retrace some -- I have one IFT left for Mar and hope to get back in game on a little dip to continue the Bear run..

S was good, I not so much -- I am 50/50 between them, so guess I end with about 1% to the up side. Not exactly what I was thinking early this morning.

Sometimes u feel like a nut -- sometimes you confirm it

Going 50% I, 25% C, 25% S, COB today

Probably get roasted pretty good Monday/Tuesday, but if there is even a little bounce I probably bail

Real TSP...staying put at 85G...10S...5 C...looking for loss today and loss Monday down to 1080...then take off tuesday for short gain.

Well, not to sure what that was at the end; hopefully will see some kind of short recovery Monday (in other words I'm begging for a bounce....please bounce)

We get a bounce in the morning on Monday. :)

The afternoon Monday really gets dicey though. I wouldn't be surprised to dump another 1 percent. The close on Monday looks iffy. Will there be enough buyers to put the market back in the black. My guess is yes...however...that feeling is likely wrong and therefore we finish in the red with markets off by 1/2-1 percent.

So...while you took a big risk...I believe the downside is minimal. If I'm wrong...then a dead cat bounce may turn into a Monday massacre.

I hope you get a huge bounce on Monday. I praying for us. :D

Interesting:

While making IFT at TSP.gov I noticed it claims my Personal Investment Performance (PIP) for last 12 months was 9.47 -- which is very very optimistic.

Wonder if I should go back and make sure they give me the profits as if I had really had that gain? :notrust:

Really, Another meaningless number. I tried to reverse engineer the number but I kept getting lost in the magic.....Anyone know the formula they use? Do they count contributions as growth?!?

I looked at my annual statement and it shows -.50% for the year (which is still better than I did, I think) -- so I don't have a clue what the PIP is supposed to be...

Yes, it is my understanding that the PIP figure includes contributions.
