Hi Jeff. Thanks for joining us!

I see you are going 50% G, 50% I. Is that because of expectedweakness in the dollar?

Good luck!

Hi All,

Going 100% F, nice run this week, locking in some gains. F Fund took a beating las couple of days, looking for a rebound.

I am 100%F right now also, but if the I drops any further I'm buying in! I think bonds will rebound .15-.25/share but it might take a couple weeks to a month.

Just house cleaning....

Currently 50C & 50S.

I'm sitting in the same position. Large caps are getting bought up money likes stability. Small caps tend to follow Large caps There is more risk but greater rewards.

Some random thoughts...

After Monday's bloodshed I thought about running for cover but instead all I took off the table was 50%. I owe Tom a thanks for this change in my investment style. Leaving 50% on the table was risky but I view myself as a risk taker. Had the market been down yesterday I would have taken another 25% off. Yesterday ended up for the C & S.

With the market looking positive before the noon cutoff for IFT, I figured the OSM were due for positive day so I moved the 50% back into the I fund. Today I will see the rewards of that play.

I'm still very cautious going forward. But as many have said on this MB, the trend remains up.

See the dollar moving up. Made a move back into the C with my
"I" money.

75% C and 25% S

Starting to look like I made a bad move yesterday moving to the S fund. The I fund is up pretty big today. Have to admit the Thailand market spooked me out of the I fund. Oh well. Hopefully the S will have a small gain today to offset the I fund gain.

Now I'm glad I was in the S fund this week. Not sure where I'll be starting next week. Leaning towards the I fund.

hi Jeff,
Don't worry about Thailand...
Unless another Tsunami hits...then all market bets are off.

If you go to this link and click on "I-Fund"
http://www.tsp.gov/rates/fundsheets.html

You'll see that Singapore is the closest to the Thailand markets and the I fund only holds .08% of Singapore stocks in the portfolio. Japan has the largest percentage at 25%. If anything happens on the Nikkei then you might want to worry. When you click on the I-Fund on that page you will also see how the I-fund is vested in other countries. Europe is 66.5% and Australasia is at 33.5%.

Japan and the UK are our biggest holdings in the I-Fund. Both around 24-25% each.
Happy Holidays,
Remo

Still staying long.....40C, 40S, and 40I.

Posted over in Oil Stuff I think we could see oil below $50 real soon. C and S funds will get most of my attention unless the dollar hits 87. If that happens I'm back 100% I.
