A good run up today... but is the sell down beginning? Or just the lunch hour malaise...:worried:

Cross our fingers for no -fv this afternoon. IMO, we are in great shape.

the 11:30am MSCI EAFE minus the ufv still leaves the I somewhere around 20 cents or so, right?

Great run today on the I, I think we will see mixed markets in the morning. I am personally moving to the ebb cycle now.

Think about it, FEDEX is the carrier of goods. The supply/demand theory comes into play. FEDEX has the tea leaves to other businesses. IMO, I am expecting bad numbers and a lower guidance number. When people are not commercing, they ship out less product. Also add higher fuel costs to the factor.

I think everyone else is expecting low numbers...they were down 1.4% today.

numbers will be low during the summer due to the fact people are on vacations always slow that time of the year, concerning the gas situation they will charge you extra for your packages depending what they are charge for gas (trucks,airplanes etc.) from week to week or quarter to quarter what ever their contract with the gas companies are charging ----the business(us) is paying the extra charge.next quarter price for gas will be down it christmas time so the earnings for that quater should be up.
