According to the STA, the Naz was "flattened" by 22.4% & the S&P was down 9.2% in Feb, 2001.

Worst Feb on record for both and 7 months prior to 9/11.:suspicious:

I don't know about anyone else but I have benefited immensly from this forum. Not only 350Z but many others as well. Thanks to all...with that said...lets make some $$$!!!!!!

It's bedtime, and everything is looking lovely. I'm really encouraged by all the early news. I think I will be bullish on all three stock funds.

... just that its tough to put new money back into play when the bulls take control in the afternoon well after the ift deadline. Plus, many of these support and resistance points happen intraday, after the deadline.

At what points are you targeting a re-entry buy?

I'm looking for a higher VIX. One big down day of profit taking and I might get back in.

My ole pappy, goat roper deluxe, many times told me "Son, never try to get off a running bull. Just wait til he stops, jump off quick as you can and run like hell! And when you want to get back on, give him time to settle down and calm his nerves. Wait til he quits buckin and jumpin around and your chances of riding him will be lots better". I think my ole pappy may have been talking about more than the rodeo arena.

One of the reasons I got out today and 100% into "G" is that it's Super Bowl weekend, and Miami isn't the securest City in America...I guess I'm nervous that the enemy might try to make a statement this weekend...is that just unreasonable paranoia?

If the USM holds today, it would be 5 up days in a row, 6 for the S fund. As we all know the market does not move up in a straight line.

I can see a very disappointed CBOE Monday. Isn't the ^VIX traded out of Chicago? :cool:
