350Z's 2007 I Fund Thread

350Z... TSPLookup shows a FV of -13 and and todays estimate shows a -9 as of 10:48AM CST. I don't understand your numbers? Where are they coming from???

Yesterday's FV might have been -13. I have not been keeping track of the actual I fund price so I might be off +/-1 penny.

As for today's estimate, my numbers are correct. Did you account for the dollar's fall?

The VIX is telling me a big rally is almost upon us. If the USM can finish like this, the Asians and the Europeans will be released from their cages. I'm planning on staying in the I fund for Thursday. I have a feeling the Feds are going to be dovish and we might get a +FV from both the USM and the dollar on Thursday afternoon. But if for some stupid reason Bernacke keys too much on inflation, it will be death and destruction.:D

350Z.... Hope you are right. Like I said, I was only looking at the numbers shown on the TSPLookup spreadsheet,
and this FV thing is still a mystery to me. It seems like if the OSM is up
we get a negative FV the next day and if it's down it's still a negative FV.
I just don't understand it, but I GET IT, the negative FV, that is....
Seems like whenever I IFT to the I fund there's a negative FV (or UFV) as someone stated.

Today looks and feel just like yesterday. I'm going to do what I should have done yesterday. Stay in I fund.

I'm sorry people. I jinxed it!:D

Just curious, but with all the tools and websites out there, are I fund estimates still needed? Does anybody want to take over the estimates? I'm getting tired of keeping up with the MSCI people.

MSCI EAFE=-.324% or -7 cents. Boy, I was way off.:embarrest:
Do not worry 350z, we are all WAY OFF off this month.

350, hang with it. They don't always give the FV back the next day. You're doing good and better than everyone else I've seen. I don't play the I fund much as you probably know. There are people here that need you though.

As far as 12%, I've noticed your following has subsided. I know you think I'm just starting stuff with you, but seriously, I've seen em come and I've seen em go. People come here, have a good month or two, then think they are all knowing. I was one of them..I just went to TSPKey.com and noticed he hasn't updated his return since 6-15-07. Wonder what fund he was in..........His return up to that point wasn't beating any of the stock funds as it was. When he first came here, he wasn't doing all that great. He had one or two good months, them BAM, he starts his own pay site.

Point is, you now tell people to "hang in there", "I like seeing red futures", "I think the market will rally this afternoon", yada, yada, yada.....sometimes you're right, lately, you've been wrong. I only bring this up because there are a lot of people here that are total investment amateurs. My advice to them, follow someone with a track record. And I don't mean a few months. The Shark is a pro, TSPtrader is apparentlly a stats guru, Ebbnflow seems to have have a pretty good "past historic averages" system going on, and Thunder is leading the way this year.

If you are a market professional, please give us some creditials.

Thanks for your time........:)

BTW, TSPkey started his website last year. Notice how his "backtested" results killed the S&P but last year he barely beat it? He's losing to it this year.............

Don't start....I do not need a pat on the back and can care less if people follow me or not. I am nothing to gain from this!! Meanwhile, I made over 25k in on IRBT. It was nice when you were banned!! I will bet you any day on who has a better return.

I offered you the challenge before. You didn't accept. I'm here if you change your mind.
