Just heard the correct message. China says they will not rule out a rate hike. Chinese market down 3%.

That's just what we need, the China Syndrome again!:nuts::mad:

I'm very worried about China. Take a look at these charts.

Possible double top forming.

Some unwinding of the Yen carry trade!

If China falls harder tonight, we could see more Yen carry trade unwinding, which can cause panic.

I'm not liking this rally. I smell a dead cat. While the Dow is up 60+, S&P and S fund are lagging. Rut is flat. The housing news this morning was bad.

when we're low in the channels doesn't bad housing numbers/econ data the week of the Fed raise the chance of the Fed lowering the rate (bullish stimuli)? I agree it feels scary but doesn't it always this low in the indicators?

Trying to remain objective, it seems that with all the bad news that the I fund is not down that much, I think that points to resiliency and pressure to move up, or sideways rather than down. I love the banter here but sometimes feel the overall discussions tend toward the bearish in an overwhelmingly up market!! I'm all in I fwiw. How

Sure, but if the major indexes don't participate, it's not a real rally. The Dow alone is not enough for me.

But things are definitely looking better now. It's still a cautious rally, but it's much better.:)

I'm just a cautious kind of guy.:D Please don't take my comments as bearish on the Market.

So if you got in this morning, conceivably you might do well tomorrow(pending all goin well)?

I dont know how Barclays justified a -14 cent FV. The USM did not close that low. Tonight the Nikkei 300 just closed in the green at +.04%

New Home Sales down 1.6%... The Fed will have to be more dovish tomorrow. Get ready for a Summer Rally into new highs.:)
