From my Amateur/unskillful expectations from Japan tonight, I did not expect them to be up this much if at all.
Something must have happened. After swift drop at the open, a big reversal up in Nikkei, usd/yen and US futures. Anyone hear anything?

Nikkei still up at their break. This would be 4 days in a row on the upside possible for tomorrow.

Out of the last 13 trading days for the Nikkei it looks to be 9 up days for it.

If up tomorrow with 4 days straight, not sure about a follow through for Tuesday for 5 days in a row up.

US Futures are up also.

Not sure what all this is about.

That is my Amateur input anyhoo.

We shall see how things look tomorrow morning. Maybe I will take the plunge back in for Tuesday.

TOKYO, March 19 (Reuters) - The dollar extended gains and rose more than a yen from the day's lows on Monday as a rebound in Tokyo shares eased fears about investors further cutting back on risk assets.
The dollar rose to a high of 117.45 yen <JPY=>, up from the day's low of 116.25 yen.
The euro also rose to the day's high of 156.35 yen <EURJPY=>. The Nikkei stock average <.N225> was up one percent.

Very intersting, 12% is 100% C fund since cob friday, and he might do quite well today. The dollar is rising against the yen, but the Euro is dropping against the dollar. In terms of positive or negative impact to the I fund, Eurozone has more weigthing than Asia. I think this correct in percentage terms. If the futures continue to show upside in the USM befor the markets open, and the US closes to the plus side, this should show further upside in OSM for tomorrow. Perhaps the Euro will start rising against the dollar for tomorrow, giving us a +FV. In my opinion, today could be a good entry point for the I fund, as the ebbtracker has it. I am going for it. Other opinions?

I am on the fence myself. EFA is sitting at the top of the daily and weekly Bollinger Bands which I do not consider favorable, but I do like how the markets are all looking up today.

After much thought, I'm going to go G today. I hate being out of the market, but I'll just keep telling myself discretion is better than valor...

I have the I-fund up about 1%. Is there any FV correction due? I thought we were even at this point?

That's about what I have too. I believe we're all caught up on FVs.

11:40 estimate: +.967 or +21 to +22 cents.

I went 50% F & 50% I for tomorrow.

Ed.

I figure +0.9% for a gain of 20 cents to $22.50

With Fundsurfer and Jayhawker giving very good estimates, I will be taking a break from posting estimates the rest of the week.
