Japan seems to be leveling out now after a large drop earlier this evening -

Right now Nikkei 300 is down (-2.31%)

as of 11:20 pm. edt.

There's panic in Japan! The Yen carry trade is unwinding like a runaway freight train. The Nikkei 225 is quickly aproaching support at 15557, Last October's low.

It broke thru 15557 like a knife thru butter - 15481 - hopefully it will come back to support. It looks like a little bounce right now but I can't believe the yen is 112 - talk about a kick in the ass to the yen carry trade.

I fund is going to be extemely ugly tomorrow. Nikkei could be down as much as 5%.
I don't envy anyone 100%I fund with a sizeable TSP. I hope ( a pipe dream no doubt that europe has somewhat of a bounce.) US futures are down slightly. I think we have a way to go before we bottom out IMHO.

The good thing is these idiots (especially cnbc) are going to realize how cheap they can pick these deals up.

I did say awhile back that I was waiting for it to fall below 16,000 before I'd buy in.

BUT, I believe I'll be holding out a bit longer...

Yup, it made a nice V around 15481 and it's now back above support at 15619. 1 hour to go and it needs to recover some more.

Your right 814 down is one ugly number. When the nikkei bounces hopefully it will be one hell of a bounce.
