350Z's 2007 I Fund Thread

Jayhawker, (Or Anyone...) If I live to be 1000 I don't think I'll understand the FV's for the I fund. TSPLookup shows a -13 FV this morning, but the I fund closed basically flat yesterday. I just don't get it!

However I do get to retire under FERS in 45 days!

Don't feel bad, there are a lot of us that just don't get it. Congratulations on being a two digit midget. Happy retirement, if you go.

Thanks for the replies about my upcomming retirement. I'll have 31 1/2 years of federal service. That's all they are going to get!

12%... The first thing I'm going to do is find out what it feels like to get up at 0445 because I WANT to not because I HAVE to!!! Or just roll over and catch some more zzzz's!!! I'm sure it's going to be GREAT!!! :nuts:

Just wondering here...did the duty reporter of early estimate and final estimate step out without anyone relieving the watch?

I have a feeling we will sell-off this afternoon causing a -fv. With the Terrorist talk going on. Profit-taking time for MMs.(money managers) I think you will see a triple digit loss today!!!

Personally I think we will have a high double or triple digit gain with a +fv in the I fund. MM"s allow their profits to run. They are not going to fight the bull and sideline money is starting to flow in. I don't know about you but that sounds kinda bullish to me and if the USM finishes strong a nice rebound in the OSM will occur.

Are they waiting for the other shoe (CPI) to drop?

Are we chasing milestones?

I don't think they bought the talking heads saying this mornings reports are tame as far as inflation is concerned. The core was higher than expected and even though the PPI was lower than expected, that was for June and we all know that gas is already higher this month.

Funny you should mention that. The talking heads are alway screaming at the top of their lungs "RALLY" when the "core" meets expectation and the whole is higher. Today, not a peep about the "core".
