Watch for a market push today. It seems the shorts cannot hold it down. I have a feeling Market will once again emerge into the green today helping us in the I Fund. However; watch out in the near future with Goldman's comments....Chinese Stocks May Have `Correction,' Goldman Says

The CSI 300 Index has climbed 82 percent this year, the best performance among 90 stock benchmarks tracked by Bloomberg, after more than doubling in 2005.
``Current valuations are demanding and seem to have outpaced the improvement in market fundamentals,'' analysts at Goldman including Thomas Deng wrote in a report today. The ``risk of market euphoria is building.''

us dollar selling off

Not exactly.

The USD is selling off against the Yen while rising against other currencies. This could only mean one thing. Some traders are getting worried and might be starting to unwind their Yen carry trades. If this continues, Shanghai will finally have a correction, as the guy from Goldman Sachs suggested.

This is a true test for the markets. We will see what they have. Strong feeling, you will see buying come in. At any rate, 350z, yes the dollar/yen is selling-off and the euro is also . gl

BTW, you might be right about the market coming back this afternoon. Like around 2 pm. The Treasury Budget is due out then and it is suppose to show a pretty good increase because of tax season. However, it doesn't really merit a high grade as an economic indicator so I doubt we get much of a pop up.
