WSJ: SEC Staff Issues Wells Notice to Angelo Mozilo

The SEC staff has issued a Wells notice to Angelo Mozilo, the co-founder of Countrywide Financial Corp., advising Mozilo that it intends to recommend that the SEC file civil fraud charges against him, the WSJ reports. The staff reportedly sent Mozilo the Wells notice several weeks ago.
The WSJ reports that potential charges against Mozilo include alleged violations of insider trading laws as well as failing to disclose material information to shareholders. If approved by the Commission, a civil suit against Mozilo could be filed within the next few weeks.

Maybe he'll do taxpayers a favor and blow his own brains out.

I also want to see Hank Paulson, Ben Bernanke, and Tim Geithner arrested for treason.

I wish that Justice/SEC would go after some of the Board members of the companies that brought us down. They're being allowed to escape the public scrutiny that frightens, and financially ruins, and just get by with private criticism and bruised egos.

I'm just crusing around the neighborhood - seeing how things are going.

My wife used my car the other day and turned the Bass to ZERO and put the FADE to ZERO as well. And I had no clue.

So I'm driving home yesterday and 'Girls, Girls, Girls' comes on with the Motorcyles ... so I immediately push it from like 3 or 4 to 12 or 15 - but something was wrong and I'm thinkin' WHAT ???

BUT ya know the song just keeps playin' - fortunately it only took a few seconds to realize I need the BACK SPEAKERS on 3 and the Bass reveved up - then I was rockn' man - you know what I mean - I mean I was really having a great time.

Sorry, Sorry, Sorry....after your post the other day, I left for a meeting and came back to see the pound rally into the market. I had said the dollar was getting weak and that it was in position to be crushed. Unfortunately, I was behind and I didn't get back here to warn you. Fortuantely, my trading platform recognized the loss and reversed it's position to the long side, that day I was -.2%.

Bond yields taking off and the F fund taking a hit as the Treasury announced more supply of 2,5, and 7s for next week.

Ben is going to have to ramp up his buying of treasuries or crash the market if he wants to keep bond yields from going to the moon.

Highlights:
* Says Mozilo charged with insider trading for selling countrywide stock and made nearly $140 million in illegal profits.
* Accuses Countrywide of engaging in unprecedented expansion of underwriting guidelines as it wrote riskier loans.
* Accuses Mozilo, David Sambol, Eric Sieracki accused of misleading market by falsely assuring investors that Countrywide was mainly a prime-quality mortgage lender.
* Says Countrywide failed to disclose to investors its expansion of underwriting guidelines and move into riskier loans.

One move left? Yeah, I'm a little jealous. So, you gonna get froggy and try and find the .gov's most likely "pump" day for an in-and-outer or just sit back and find a better entry point for a bit longer play (frankly, that may take a while)?

I'm always looking for an entry into the market for a 1-2 day pump. TNX showed me that entry last month, but I was too cautious and the pump monkeys made it happen.
