350zCommtech's Account Talk

Me too... It sucks...

What's your point?

I hate trying to make a trading decision on whether our government is going to flush another $60B down AIG's toilet, to pay for AIG's losses, or just finally saying "no more".

Also, the Citigroup's deal means massive dilution. Good chance this will happen to other banks to. Financials should be selling.

As for Obama, his spending spree is hurting bonds. He is either clueless or a complete fraud.

I vote for both.......His decision to choose Turbo Tax Tim shows he is clueless. His decision to keep throwing money at a broken system is fraudulent.

My $0.02

$.02 is about where GE's dividend should be.

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- General Electric will cut its quarterly dividend to 10 cents from 31 cents, the Wall Street Journal reported on its Web site Friday. The dividend cut comes weeks after the company warned that it will be evaluating its dividend level for the second half of the year in light of the growing uncertainty in the economy. There had been lingering concerns that the company may be forced to slash dividend due to deteriorating business conditions. Shares of GE were down 5.1% to $8.64.

Stocks can't rally, bonds being hurt, the G-fund paying < 3%. We need more options in the TSP now! Gold, a short fund option, etc. We won't be able to retire if everything is going down.

No, I haven't. It's still speculation at this point. We might not know the truth until the siphoning of tax payer money is complete.
You mean it's going to end????:suspicious:

Agreed, can you imagine being able to short the market all the way from 14,000????? At the first hint of the real estate debacle, I would have been short...50% in the last year and a half an no love.....
Well ya'll know where I stand on him.
CB

Yes sir, we do..... That's why we like you!!!!!

Hey Z, I know you are closely watching the $.

Watcha think? Especially since it now rests at the Apr 06 level... just prior to the over 2 year sell-off.

You seein' that too? I'm skeptical about a retracement but it is in the land of sink or swim.......

No, I did not get back in FAZ. Got stopped out yesterday and didn't want to chase. I had to work today, so no trading.

Here's the dollar.

My target is the green circle, between 89 and 90, which is right around the April 06 level.:D

I would expect it to retrace a little from that level, but I doubt that it will crash from there. Situation in Europe and the UK will push the dollar back up.

I know what you are thinking Rod. I've been eyeing the I fund for the last few days. I'm just waiting for a capitulation/big sell-off day. I also want to see a big spike in the VIX. The VIX not rising tells me there are still too many bulls/dip buyers/short covering.

Just look at today for example. Bad news from C and GDP, but buyers came in and bought the gap down. No fear. Today should have been capitulation day.
