350zCommtech's Account Talk

Japan should tell Geithner to pay his taxes and shut the hell up.
O yeah. I can't believe anyone in this country can get "confused" on whether or not you have to pay taxes.

My kids, 20 & 21, know how to fill out their own returns. They already know they have to pay taxes.

I can hear him now, Oh, I forgot to tell everyone I raised the interest rate 50 points. I didn't know I had to tell everyone!!!!

What a flippin joke.

For someone with his extensive knowledge of our tax code, it is hard to believe he didn't know. For someone like you and me--well, some of us depend on our accountants for the latest on the tax codes, and I feel that we pay for that knowledge when we pay their fees. Seems to me he should get his accountant to give back the fee he charged for the years he did his returns.(yeah, right)

Obama should make him step down now and appoint somebody else.

Think about this. Geithner is basically Hank Paulson's right hand man.

He's a liar and a thief. Which is why Obama thinks he is perfect for the job of the Secretary of the Treasury.

It's just too funny and almost too scary to be true.

Mental note: Can I short the Turbo Tax he used? :p

He said today turbo tax made him do it. My copy of turbo tax from last year won't let me do it without an error warning. Anyone got a copy of a 2002 era turbo tax CD we can mail to the Senate. I think he lied.

Interesting...No signs of the PPT yet.

Bond yields are rising again today, continuing from yesterday's rocket ride, despite the stock market selling this morning. Not good for the F fund.

Bond yields continue their rocket ride as China is also talking about selling US treasuries. Look at what happened to oil when that bubble popped. The same could also happen to bonds. When it happens, we will be dealing with a severe recession and high interest rates at the same time. That can't be good for stocks or the F fund.

I'm seeing extreme weakness in small caps this morning. I think we go much lower this afternoon. On the other hand, currencies are showing a small sign of a bullish divergence. Perhaps, we'll see more selling this afternoon followed by a bounce tomorrow.

Strong support at 804(ES) or 807(S&P).

Somebody please shut this guy up.

First of all, it's no secret that China is manipulating it's currency. The same is true about Japan.

China has the US by the balls. **** them off and they will dump our treasuries. Both China and Japan are big holders of US treasuries. Also, they might be dumping US treasuries because they have to.
We're doomed. He is too full of himself.

If you're serious JB45 I do have the CD. I doubt if it would do any good though. After all it was just Social Security and Medicare money and we all know those funds are there for Washington to use as they please. A secondary purpose for the funds is to give the proletariat a good feeling about the future:suspicious:

Use it to make a dummy return. On the W2 put 0 for FICA and Medicare and see how many errors it generates. He said in his testimony that it didn't generate any errors or warnings. If it does send the CD to your favorite national news service with a letter explaining. Maybe they will run it as a story. Lying during a Senate hearing when under oath used to be a crime.
