2011 Whopping Retirement COLA

Quote of the day:

“If the GOP takes control of the House in November, we predict things will be very, very bad for working people, especially given the Republican track record over the past two years," United Auto Workers President Bob King told CNBC.

The good news for Republicans is that only about 12 percent of American workers are part of a union, down from 35 percent in 1953.

Hmmm, and who has controlled Congress the past four years and had total control in Washington the past two years? Don't see how things could be any worse for American workers than they already are. Pass the stimulus and unemployment won't go over 8%. It'll go to shovel ready projects. Hmm, haven't seen any major improvements in infrastructure lately. And have you noticed the number of Dem incumbents who are dodging the Obama photo-op and highlighting the fact they didn't vote for Obamacare and other bills? Americans are upset and they will show it with their vote in November. ;)

Buster, I apologize for setting off the libs in your thread. It wasn't my intention, although it did provide some humor. Have a good day. :)

Now Maggie, you know we don't encourage or allow inappropriate "descriptions of parentage" on either site, I'm not saying it hasn't happened but that's what Moderators are for.
How about that BIG COLA, didn't get one last year I think the next will be in 2012, of course you know this is just a TAX on our Social Security and Retirement accounts.
