2010 Predictions

Hey, I have an idea to save $$.

Let's immediately pull the troops out of Iraq.....Ok, ok, let's pull them out in 24 months, ok how about 16 months, ok, ok, ok, let's compromise on 19 months but don't tell anyone we promised immediate withdrawal or that we still intend to leave 20%. To avoid any suspicion of a broken promise, lets change the name of the troops that will remain there for possibly a 100 years. They can be called "trainers" or "advisers". With a different name attached, we can say we met all obligations......I know it is kinda complicated but just think of it like what that singer previously known as "Prince" did. :D

BTW, who is this Odierno guy, does he work for McCain?

“It’s not going to end, O.K.?” General Odierno said. “There’ll always be some sort of low-level insurgency in Iraq for the next 5, 10, 15 years. The issue is, what is the level of that insurgency? And can Iraqis handle it with their own forces and their own government?”

The Sunni Sons of Iraq can handle the remaining insurgency. The Shite government just has to keep their promise to pay them their salaries.

Don is always so quick to jump all over Jim Cramer when he's wrong, that I'm surprised he makes such bold predictions himself.
Don [Harrold] says gold hits $1700 in 2010. Doug Kass says it breaks $900 (on the downside.)

I stole this from a post in Birchtree's thread. Thought it appropriate here.

4. The price of gold topples.
“Gold is going to break $900,” he said. “It’s one of the most crowded trades.”
