We all have a couple of bucks to spare and no matter even if it's you local spca do what you can.

Each year, in the United States an estimated 27 million cats and dogs are born. Between 5 and 8 million are euthanized because homes are unable to be found for them. Hundreds of thousands of healthy dogs and cats are killed each month for many reasons, including commercial and backyard breeding and the sale of animals in "pet" stores, all of which are preventable. :(

Com'on people this is the U.S. the richest nation on earth with the best and most generous people bar none so let's do the right thing.

12% I'm with you all the way on this.

Craig

I've written checks to both org. and by the way have taken on 4 more abandoned dogs to my personal kennels. I'm now up to 36 animals.

Let's all do the right thing. We all talk about making money in market - write the check to you local or recommended organization. It's tax deductible and for 18 buck a month, around .60 cents a day to the aspca you can save health loving animal from being euthanized.

Fannie Mae posts $3.6 billion loss http://biz.yahoo.com/rb/080227/fanniemae_results.html?.v=3
This is very bad. Yesterdays rally was based on IBM buying back shares. Looking for a pullback. Might stay in the G Fund until Friday or next week. Will post. I locked profits for Mon./Tues. profits and went to the G Fund today. US Dollar is oversold because inflationary pressure is going to be confirmed today when Ben speaks. I am not to sure about Ben being kind with more aggressive cuts near-term. This guy is texted and he will worry about stagflation. My met my goal this week. I wanted to make .50% or better.

HMMMMMM....more fun and games with Fannie and Freddie.
Maybe no selloff today after all.

But after the earlier post about the billions in losses due to mortgages, does THIS make sense????

LONDON, Feb 27 (Reuters) - European shares pared losses late on Wednesday after the federal regulator for Fannie Mae (FNM.N: Quote, Profile, Research) and Freddie Mac (FMC.N: Quote, Profile, Research) said it would lift an invesmtent cap, freeing up billions of dollars for the mortgage finance companies to invest in the U.S. housing market. At 1554 GMT, the FTSEurofirst 300 index of top European shares was down 0.25 percent at 1,357.95. A trader said: "The main news is the regulators removing the investment cap; there also seem to be some bullish comments coming from (Federal Reserve Chairman Ben) Bernanke when he says he will do all he can about the economy." (Reporting by Sitaraman Shankar and Dominic Lau)
no, it will occur. I see today and tomorrow as red days. Friday looks good so far.

Positive today! Triple digit loss tomorrow! (10 bucks, any takers!)? LOL
