    New Leg Up Silently Beginning Today

    Okie, dokie. I'm going to up my CSI amount to 9 percent, spread even between the funds. The other 90-some % is in the G. This will be my last transfer before the 2 transfers/month kick in sometime next month. :) I know its a desperart move but sometime you gotta due what you gotta do.

    Re: New Investor Want Recommendations Then how about Wade Cook? He has published a bunch or books and tapes on investing. He appears to be a friendly guy, and provides for his church and has adopted children. Then again, some say he is a crook and many have lost thousands from his guidance.

    Welcome. I'm another vet with 23 years in the Air Force. 19 years working as a PFC for the Navy and Army. My TSP has done pretty good; since I'm very close to retirement (maybe this year) I limit my risk in the CIS funds to 10% or less. Like you, I'm hanging in the F now.
