Even though I am near the bottom of the current annual tracker I am not very sad and I am still buying Fund I every paycheck.

I still expect domestic inflation to hit sooner or later.

In its 2009 exploration plan and environmental impact analysis for the well, BP suggested it was unlikely, or virtually impossible, for an accident to occur that would lead to a giant crude oil spill and serious damage to beaches, fish and mammals.

At least 1.6 million gallons of oil have spilled so far since the April 20 explosion that killed 11 workers, according to Coast Guard estimates. One expert said Friday that the volume of oil leaking from the well nearly 5,000 feet below the surface could actually be much higher, and that even more may escape if the drilling equipment continues to erode.

The Federal Open Market Committee has authorized re-establishment of its temporary U.S. dollar liquidity swap arrangement with the Bank of Japan. This arrangement is similar to the arrangements announced yesterday with the Bank of England, the European Central Bank, and the Swiss National Bank in that it will provide the Bank of Japan with the capacity to conduct tenders of U.S. dollars at fixed rates for the full allotment.

Why audit the Fed?

The Federal Reserve handed out more than $2 trillion in secret bailout loans during the global financial crisis. Congress is now demanding to know where the money went.

The Senate this week passed an amendment authorizing a one-time audit of the Federal Reserve's loans to banks and financial institutions during the financial crisis — that is, from Dec 1, 2007 until the present day.

Transocean, the world's largest offshore drilling contractor which owned the Deepwater Horizon, filed papers in a Houston court on Thursday seeking to limit its legal liability to $27 million.

I was able to withdraw all funds from TSP and look at other opportunities due to my age. I am rebuilding using dollar cost averaging into Fund C=40%, Fund S=30%, and Fund I=30%. Things look good so far since I went in about January 6, 2105.

Looks like I reversed a couple of digits on the year there but I have since changed my allocation which I will stick with for a while as I am in build up mode again in the TSP.

Still hanging with my current distributions dollar cost averaging in all the time. I just started putting a few dollars in Robinhood with the idea of buying stocks for free.I like the free commissions of some stocks and ETFs in Fidelity but this is even better. It is hard to beat free but of course they are getting interest on funds to maintain the business. Good luck to all this year in the TSP Funds.
