I really feel bad, James that after you have been doing all that work for all of us on the Interfund Transfer issue, you might not have been paying enough attention to your own TSP account and might be in too much peril being 60% in stocks at this seemingly perilous time. I hope and pray it works out to your benefit. In fact, I think I’ll create a poll re your allocations – HOPE YOU DON’T MIND!

By the way- it turns out that January 22 has been the highest single day so far in TSP history for interfund transactions. more than 40,000 were processed in that single day.

Must have been a lot of folks scampering to the sidelines on that one. Fear sells.

The rule to remember is: Buy on the fear, and sell on the joy.

Tomorrow might be a good day to sell on the joy. We had a nice runup today, which I think will carry over into tomorrow. But we're stretch up a bit, and tomorrow might look like a good chance to take a breather for a couple of days.

Im in, but will be looking at it closely before noon to make some decisions. right now I'd say perhaps a 20% chance I'll bail out tomorrow. Just a little chance, but a chance non-the-less that deserves watching.

Interesting. Sounds to me like market capitulation occured over two months ago.
