I find it comical that this corona virus has people going crazy, I mean, the flu kill 60,000 people in 2018. This virus give out the same symptom as the flu, killed 60 people and yet we are shutting down EVERYTHING...This seems like a big ploy for everyone to take a week off or something :/ anyone feels that way?

and the ones who have died had underlying and some serious health conditions. Latest report 65k have recovered.
IMO this is all about making the economy look bad for Nov. however, reported cses will clear up in a few weeks and the markets will go to the moon Alice and their plan will have backfired. my two cents. pre 1982 pennies about four cents.

I thought the same thing when all this started. That's why I did an IFT and tried to catch the dip. Then I did some actual research. The people who aren't taking it seriously are the ones spreading it. This is going to get a LOT worse in the next month. And that's why I am cutting my losses and going back to G today. I'll get back in after SPY is below 200. This is absolutely going to ruin the economy.

There is nothing comical about it. Please start paying attention. The death rates are actually far higher than influenza, and the models are now saying it will likely exceed the 1918-1919 "Spanish Flu" that killed 50 million people worldwide. You are only seeing the very opening days of what is going to become a huge, huge medical problem across the entire world.

If you don't understand why they are closing and banning groups of 50 and larger, you are woefully behind the power curve, and are likely one of the folks who are going to be spreading it.
PLEASE start to become informed. This is the biggest health risk in our lifetimes.
It's about to become very, very bad, and the hospitals are about to become overwhelmed.
See the post I just wrote about Italy. WE are Italy in about two to three weeks.
The death rate is 65 in the U.S the last time I look...Flu in 2018 kill 60,000 people thats an average of 12k a month...unless my math is wrong, that is still far cry from the actual Flu. which if you dwell down into the death rate, most of them have some underlying health issues and over the age of 60...which is not the majority of the population.
from the post, I question Italy public health system more than the virus itself.
I had the flu, as a matter of fact I got it in December, went to the ER twice. I'm not sure what you are trying to say here.

LOL u don't get it. 1 in 5 group 1 in 2 group, 1 in 50 group, what does it matter if one has it. 1 in 50 means 50 could get it. and don't see the problem with them saying no groups larger than 50. It doesn't matter how large the group is, somebody can still get sick. so the two in the group getting it are less important than the 50 getting it? that is the govt position and maybe yours.
italy is full of illegal immigrate invaders who are already sick with various diseases they brought with them, plus their already poor hygiene habits even while eating. that is why the death rate is high there.
please get yourself informed about other countries. 65k have already recovered. in American ones who have died were already sick.
PLEASE start to become informed you are being fooled and realize that this is a trial run for the leaders to see how much they can get away with while the US Constitution is still hanging on the wall.
flu was ten times worst during obama, news media silent, until six months later and 12k dead, and still didn't make a big deal about it. why was that?

What?! Ya know, all you have to do is look at fatality rates already and do the math (whether in the US, Italy, China, wherever). Extrapolating any and all of those shows a potential for anywhere between 6 and 12 million here in the USA alone.

ok...just because you can get it, doesnt mean you are going to die....if thats the case, every year we should shut down business, quarantine everyone for the flu. The confirmed case to death ratio is 8%, out of those 8% how many are younger than 60's?
The chance of you dying from Corona under the age of 60 is so minimal that you are more likely to die in a car crash.

Ahh yes, the website I posted on here last month.
The one showing exponential growth. and how we will likely hit 200k cases on Wednesday, after being at only 100k on March 6th. And that 8% of closed cases have ended in Death

once again, just because you are infected, doesnt mean you are going to die...just like the flu, you CAN die from it, but not likely if you are under the age of 60 and healthy, if you are obese and have health issue consider yourself unlucky...
