Watch those peaks

I have been getting in and out of the I-fund by, at least in part, observing the trend line of peaks and troughs. If you look at the peaks, you will see at least one, if not multiple ups and downs before plunging into a valley. My point? It seems that once there is a down day after new highs, it is usually then followed by another up day, but the handwriting is on the wall, its not going to go much further up, before it dips big-time. I think that this should be considered a signal, or red flag to sell if you are a short term investor. Just an observation.
