Interesting article, in Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, we picked up (hired) to accountants who worked for them in Seattle, on the premise that they would be transferred somewhere they didn't want to move to...ie out of Seattle. I retired in Jan 2006. I think this will happen in some other Depts as well to reduce costs. More working from home as well....assuming the job permits. We were allowed to work one day per week at home...that's when I usually edited reports....
